On the afternoon of February 1st, a delegation headed by Ms. Siriluk Chaiprompasit (Thai director of CIAU) visited Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and were warmly welcomed by Mr. Jitti Tangsithpakdi (the President of Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce) and his deputies. Those who joined Ms. Siriluk are Mr. Zhao Peiqin (Chinese director of CIAU), Mr. Aphinop Karunyalert (Thai director of Confucius Classroom at Assumption College of Commerce), Ms. Yang Hairong (CIAU Chinese teacher), Ms. Kannika Ponamnuaysuk (secretary of the Thai director) and Ms. Natjira Dangchuang (secretary of the Thai director). The two parties had a fruitful discussion on promoting the education exchange between Thailand and China, as well as the cooperation between the two parties.
Mr. Jitti Tangsithpakdi praised Ms. Siriluk Chaiprompasit for what she has done for the Chinese language education in Thailand and hope CIAU would cultivate more and more professionals who speak very good Chinese.
Ms. Siriluk Chaiprompasit briefed the work of CIAU and Confucius Classroom at Assumption College of Commerce (CCACC) and thanked Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce for supporting the compiling Chinese language textbooks. She also expressed the hope that Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce could continue their support for CIAU and CCACC and the two will do their utmost to help Thai-Chinese Chamber of Commerce in pushing forward the business cooperation between Thailand and China.
