2016 CIAU board meeting was held in CIAU meeting room on November 21, 2016. Bro.Bancha Saenghiran (Rector of AU), Professor Lu Fuping (Vice President of Tianjin University of Science and Technology), Dr. Kamol Kitsawad ( Vice Rector of AU), Ms. Siriluk Chaiprompasit (Thai director of CIAU), Mr. Zhao Shiqin (Deputy director, University Office, Tianjin University of Science and Technology), Mr, Zhao Xin (Deputy director, International Exchange Office, Tianjin University of Science and Technology), Mr. Zhao Peiqin (Chinese director of CIAU) and Mr. Li Yalun (assistant to Dr. Kamol Kitsawad) attended the meeting.
Bro.Bancha Saenghiran chaired the meeting and welcomed the delegation from Tianjin, China. Then Mr. Zhao Peiqin presented CIAU work report and draft plan for 2017. After that, CIAU directors asked for support from AU and Tianjin University of Science and Technology (hereafter TUST). Both Bro.Bancha Saenghiran and Dr. Kamol Kitsawad thought that CIAU has done a lot since its founding. They gave insightful suggestions for CIAU’s future development. They believed that CIAU can do better in teaching, cultural activities and PR in the future. Professor Lu Fuping first expressed TUST’s thanks for AU’s support for CIAU, and then he discussed CIAU budget, internship base and TUST-AU cooperation with AU authority. The last topic is the date for next year’s CIAU board meeting which will be held in Tianjin, China.
