13 October, 2016, Confucius Institute work meeting was held at Suvarnabhumi Campus of Assumption University. The meeting, chaired by Dr. Kamol Kitsawad, Vice Rector for Policy, Planning and Quality Assurance, was joined by Ms. Siriluk Chaiprompasit (Thai director), Mr. Wu Zhenjun (former Chinese director), Mr. Zhao Peiqin (present Chinese director), Mr. Li Yalun(assistant to the rectors) and other Chinese and Thai staff. Work report, budgets and development plans were discussed on the meeting, solutions for current problems were worked out.
At the beginning, Dr. Kamol Kitsawad expressed his warm welcome to Mr. Zhao Peiqin and his gratitude to Mr. Wu Zhenjun for his hard work and devotion. Mr. Wu Zhenjun presented his work report and plans for future development. The following issues were also discussed on the meeting: budgets, offices at two campuses, collaboration with the Department of Business Chinese of Assumption University, cooperation with the local government, HSK tests, Confucius Classrooms, Chinese learning app.
