AU Musical Reaps Applause

To commemorate the 60th birthday anniversary of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn and the 40th Anniversary of Thai-Chinese Diplomatic Relations, the School of Communication Arts prepared for a musical Yu Linglong since the end of 2015 and now the play is on stage and achieved great success.

The story shows the history of Sino-Thai communication and the deep kinship through the the interaction of a Chinese-Thai girl and a Chinese boy. The kinship is also shown in the content of the players: around 30 Thai and Chinese students and faculty members performed in the play. The Confucius Institute at Assumption University sponsored the musical.

Reverend Brother Bancha, President of AU, Siriluk and Wu, the directors of Confucius Institute joined the show and left their autograph and compliments for the show. Over 1000 people from Assumption University and affiliated schools of the St. Gabriel’s Fund viewed the musical.
