The 2016 fast-track Chinese class for faculty and staff was launched on both Suvarnabhumi campus and Hua Mak campus recently. The class is offered by the Confucius Institute of Assumption University as an important capacity-building activity for AU members and the class is very popular among the learners.
Miss Liu Mengdi, the instructor, has been in Thailand for one year as a volunteer teacher and she utilizes Thai, English and Chinese to cater to the multinational learners in class.
The class was conducted with lots of fun so that the learners learn in a light atmosphere and their Chinese skills improve significantly and they can learn a lot about China and Chinese culture.
The Confucius Institute will also offer Chinese saloons to the learners to that they can practice their Chinese in a totally immersed way.
