On August 20th and 21st, 2022, the Confucius Institute at Assumption University(CIAU) held Chinese Proficiency Test( HSK) and Youth Chinese Test (YCT) in Assumption College Primary Section,Nawamintharachinuthit Triamudomsuksapattanakarn School and Assumption University. This test covered HSK level 1-6 and YCT level 1. The total of 578 candidates participated.
In order to ensure the safety and success of the examination, CIAU has formulated a pandemic prevention plan for the examination, comprehensively ventilated and disinfected the examination room in advance, determined the safe distance between the seats in the examination room, counted the examination materials, posted the examination room information, and made good preparations before the examination.
On the day of the exam, CIAU organized all candidates and invigilators to conduct the ATK test, and required the invigilators and candidates to wear masks throughout the test. After completing body temperature detection, hand disinfection, and identity verification, candidates enter the examination room and take their seats under the guidance of the invigilator.
For the candidates of Assumption College Primary Section who are younger and some of them are taking the YCT test for the first time, the invigilator explained the test requirements and the method of filling in the answer sheet in detail to ensure that the candidates can answer the questions correctly. During the examination, all candidates strictly abide by the discipline of the examination room, answer carefully, and there is no violation of regulations and disciplines.
With the joint efforts of all candidates and invigilators, the HSK and YCT Chinese Test in August were successfully concluded.
