On February 1, 2022, the Confucius Institute at Assumption University held the award ceremony of the 2022 "Welcome to the Year of the Tiger, Celebrate the Chinese New Year" Online Chinese Song Contest.
This song contest has been held for four times so far. Since the announcement of the contest on December 28, 2021, we received a total of 205 submissions from primary school to university Thai students.
The contestants were divided into three groups, which were the children's group (under 12 years old), the youth group (12-18 years old) and the adult group (over 18 years old).
After internal primary selection and expert external review, SUPHASUTA ROTKHUM《想你的夜》, ANANTA KHAMROT《芒种》and KOBKAEW LERDSINTHAI 《寻一个天荒地老的地方》 won the first prize in the children's group, the youth group and the adult group respectively.
