On August 17th, 2020, the Confucius Institute at Assumption University (CIAU) received an invitation letter from Wang Klai Kang Won School Under the Patronage of Majesty the King .
Ms.Siriluk Chaiprompasit, the Thai Director of CIAU, was invited to be the Chinese General Counsel, while Ms.Yang Hairong, the Chinese director of CIAU, was invited to be the Chinese Consultant.
With the approval of Rev.Bro.Dr.Bancha Saenghiran,President-Rector Magnificus of AU. Ms.Siriluk Chaiprompasit officially took up the offer as Chinese General Counsel in Wang Klai Kang Won School Under the Patronage of Majesty the King, as well as Ms.Yang Hairong who was to be the Chinese Consultant. The two directors will provide comprehensive guidance to Wang Klai Kang Won School Under the Patronage of Majesty the King in terms of Chinese teaching, Chinese teacher training, Chinese cultural activity, and Chinese proficiency test etc.
CIAU has a long history of cooperation with Wang Klai Kang Won School Under the Patronage of Majesty the King . Ms.Siriluk Chaiprompasit, the Thai Director of CIAU, who has been serving as the teaching anchor of the Chinese courses of the Royal Imperial Plan Satellite Distance Education TV Station in Wang Klai Kang Won School Under the Patronage of Majesty the King since 1997. The Chinese language and Chinese culture courses that she has lectured were welcomed and praised by all the sectors of Thai society.
