From 27th January to 3rd February, 2020, Confucius Institute at Assumption University (hereafter CIAU) held the 3rd Selected Chinese Culture Works of Teachers and Students Exhibition, which included Chinese painting, calligraphy, paper cutting, handicrafts and award-winning painting from Sino-Thai Friendship Cup. Handicrafts included facial masks, Chinese knots, round fans and clay sculpture works. All works were original works by outstanding students of CIAU.
During the exhibition, the exhibition booth attracted teachers and students from varied countries of Assumption University (hereafter AU) to stop, appreciate works and take pictures. The exhibition also generated some students’ interest to traditional Chinese culture and Chinese talents. These students came to the CIAU to consult and register Chinese language and Chinese culture courses for the new semester.
This exhibition provided a platform for teachers and students of CIAU to display Chinese talent. CIAU will further stimulate their enthusiasm and interest in learning Chinese and understand traditional Chinese culture. CIAU opens a window for teachers and students of AU to understand Chinese culture.
