From October 7th to 18th, 2019, Confucius Institute at Assumption University (hereafter CIAU) held 2nd Teenager Chinese Language and Culture Camp 2019. This camp lasted for two weeks, including 32 periods of Chinese language courses and 22 periods of Chinese talent courses.

In Chinese language class, CIAU teachers chose textbook Kuaile Hanyu and taught with teaching software, and designed the teaching mode through lively activities so that each student could not only learn the daily expression of Chinese in games and activities, but also greatly improve their interest in speaking Chinese and writing Chinese characters. At the same time, students were attracted by colorful Chinese culture and talent courses such as Chinese painting, handicraft, tea culture, Chinese song, Kung Fu and Chinese movies and TV series.

At the graduation ceremony, students introduced themselves in Chinese, sang a Chinese song “Sweet Honey” and showed Chinese Kung Fu fans, which won the applause from their parents and teachers. In addition, the graduation ceremony also arranged a group game to test and consolidate their Chinese. Students who were divided into two teams participated in the competitions of speaking Chinese and finding Chinese characters, writing Chinese characters and kicking shuttlecock. Their parents were delighted for the growth and progress of their children.
