From October 9 to 11, 2019, 2019 World Class Educational Resources, International Expo and Conference was held at Bangkok International Trade and Exhibition Center (BITEC 2019), Bangkok, Thailand. Dr. Khunying Kalaya Sophonpanich, Deputy Minister of Education Thailand, presided over the opening ceremony and gave a speech.
After the opening ceremony, Dr. Khunying Kalaya Sophonpanich, Deputy Minister of Education Thailand, visited the booth of Confucius Institute at Assumption University (hereafter CIAU) with Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, the President of Assumption University, and showed great interest in Chinese traditional culture.
Worlddiadac Asia 2019 attracted more than 130 companies from over 20 countries to attend, and attracted nearly 10000 people to visit. CIAU was the only cultural institution invited to present Chinese culture.
In this exhibition, CIAU displayed a number of traditional Chinese culture experience projects including Guzheng, calligraphy, Chinese knots, mooncakes making, paper cutting and door knockers making. The unique cultural activities attracted a large number of Chinese learners and Chinese cultural enthusiasts to visit and experience. In addition, other exhibitors appreciated the unique charm of Chinese culture.
