From September 19 to 26, 2019, an eight-day educational visit to China held by Confucius Institute at Assumption University (hereafter CIAU) brought to a successful close.
All ten members of this education were incumbent principals and education administrators who are important role in promoting the establishment and development of local Chinese language teaching. During the visit, members of delegation visited universities, primary and secondary schools of Thianjin and exchanged views with the leaders, educators, and project officials of the Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban), Tianjin Municipal Commission of Education.
In addition, the members of delegation from Assumption College Rayong, Sripruetta School, Benchamaracharungsarit School, and Nawamintharachinuthit Triamudomsuksapattanakarn School signed MOUs with College of Humanities & Law of Tianjin University of Science and Technology for students of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages to internship.
Before the education delegation came back to Thailand, members expressed their thanks for Confucius Institute Headquarters (Hanban) that provided the opportunity for them to visit. By this visit, they deepen their understanding of Chinese language, culture, education and society. Moreover, members of the delegation wished to promote Chinese language teaching in their schools and strengthen cooperation and communication with Chinese schools through CIAU.
