On October 13, 2019, Confucius Institute at Assumption University (hereafter CIAU) held pre-departure training for 2019 autumn camp.59 students from Sripruetta School, Benchamaracharungsarit School, Assumption College Rayong, Assumption College Sriracha, and Assumption College Thonburi participated in this training activity.
Ms. Yang Hairong, the Chinese director of CIAU, hosted this training. She introduced the relevant information about autumn camp, especially the purpose and significance. Then, she introduced the notes in detail, such as safety issues, weather changes and dietary differences.
Ms. Natjira Dangchuang, leading teacher from CIAU, made a guidebook for students to China, including the itinerary in China, flight number, gathering time and place, weather forecast, prepared things that will be used in China, address of Tianjin University of Science and Technology (hereafter TUST), name of leading teacher and students’ accommodation information and so on.
After training, Ms. Yang Hairong communicated with leading teachers from different schools about the considerations to China once again, especially the issues such as student safety to ensure this autumn camp would go on wheels. All students will go to TUST for two-week cultural exchange form October 11 to 24 after this training.
