On September 28, 2019, the award ceremony was held by the Office of Basic Education Commission of the Thai Ministry of Education at Dhonburi Rajaphat University Samutprakan Campus.Minister of Education Thailand, Dr. Suthep Chittayawong, Secretary General of Office of Basic Education Commission, and Dr. Peera Ruttanawijit, Deputy Secretary General of the Office of Basic Education Commission attended this event.
Because of the outstanding contribution to the development of Chinese teaching and Chinese culture for CIAU and Nawamintharachinuthit Triam Udomsuksa Pattanakarn School, Dr. Peera Ruttanawijit, Deputy Secretary General of the Office of Basic Education Commission, presented the honorary award, which was signed by Minister of Education Thailand to CIAU. During the ceremony, Minister of Education Thailand had an in-depth communication with Ms. Yang Hairong, the Chinese director of CIAU, on the educational situation and the situation of Chinese language teaching in Thailand.
This award not only represents the recognition of CIAU from all sectors of society in Thailand, but also marks a further breakthrough of CIAU in promoting Chinese language teaching and organizing Chinese culture activities in Thailand. CIAU devotes to “tell China’s story well, spread China’s voice well” now and forever.
