On March 6-10, 2019, by the invitation of Phetchaburi Rajabhat University (PRU), Confucius Institute at Assumption University (CIAU) selected three experienced Chinese teachers to give pre-examination training for 70 students who would take the HSK exam in April.
The training lasted for one week, eight hours a day. The training mainly included the introduction of HSK test process, HSK test outline interpretation and model test.
Ms. Li Xiaofeng, head of the Chinese Department of PRU, said that it was a big challenge for both students and teachers for the training time was tight and the task was heavy. She was very grateful to those three CIAU teachers for sparing time in their busy schedule. The students liked teachers and their courses, and hoped that they would come again next year.
Mantanee Suwannakan, who participated in the HSK Level 3 training and scored 287 points in the model exam expressed her gratitude to the CIAU teachers. Although she was very tired during the training, she had learned a lot in class. She was confident to achieve good results in the April exam through this training.
On January 16, 2018, the Chinese Department of PRU officially became the CIAU affiliated test center for Chinese Proficiency Test. Since the cooperation, the number of participants in the HSK exam had been increasing. CIAU would continue to support PRU on HSK exams and attract more students to take the HSK exams.
