On January 24th, the first Chinese Knowledge and Skills Contest co-hosted by Confucius Institute at Assumption University (hereafter CIAU) and Sripruetta School (SS) held at Sripruetta School. Students from six schools around Bangkok participated in the contest. The contest was divided into three aspects: singing contest, writing contest and knowledge quiz.
Before the contest, Veera Janchai, the rector of Sripruetta School, gave a speech. As the seventh Chinese teaching site of CIAU, CIAU provided more opportunities for Sripruetta School, the 7th Chinese teaching site, in Chinese learning and communication. He expressed his gratitude for the support and help of CIAU and looked forward to further profound and extensive cooperation in the future.
After the contest, Wajanaporn Tapaopong from Satreesethabuthbumpen School won the 1st prize in singing contest. Weeranat Wongpanchapak from Sripruetta School won the 1st prize in writing contest. Naipaporn Pongchokeattana from Nawamin Thrachinuthittriam Udomsuksa Nomklao School was the champion of knowledge quiz contest.
