CIAU held the annual teachers training program for Hanban sponsored Chinese teachers, volunteer Chinese teachers and local teachers in Thailand from CIAU headquarters and its teaching sites from October 2nd to October 4th, 2018.
On October 2nd, Rev. Bro. Dr. Bancha Saenghiran, the president of Assumption University, attended the ceremony. He thanked everyone for their contributions to Chinese language teaching, Chinese cultural activities and friendship between China and Thailand. He showed the participants around Huamak campus of Assumption University.
On the same day, all members of CIAU visited Channel 3 of Thailand, a partner of CIAU in Chinese language training, and talked with Mr. Ronnapong Kamnuanthip, chief commercial officer of Channel 3 and a student of CIAU, on how to deepen cooperation. Accompanied by staff of Channel 3, the delegation visited programs production center, news studio to get the information of their Chinese learning need. The delegation joined Flash News live show.
On October 3rd, CIAU organized a full-day training on policies, regulations, professional abilities and a seminar to exchange experiences. Combined training and practice, all members participated in the planning of recent activities, and actively gave suggestions for the smooth implementation of various activities.
On October 4th, all the trainees worked together for the pre-departure training for participants of autumn camps in 2018 and Chinese language and culture camp. Practice is an important part of the training. The one-day camp is a good way to test the training. From the training, teamwork spirit was enhanced. The trainees felt proud to be members of CIAU.
