Chinese Speech Contest

March 23, 2018, CIAU held College Students Chinese Speech Contest at the lecture hall of Assumption University.

The theme of this contest is China’s new four great inventions. Started from Chinese ancient civilization like compass, paper making, printing and gunpowder, the contestants talked a lot about Chinese modern civilization like shared bicycles, high-speed train, mobile payment and online shopping. The speakers also talked a lot about the ancient Silk Road and modern Belt and Road. They passionately told the convenience brought by the new four great inventions in very good Chinese.

After fierce competition, Sakaorat Wongphom from Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) won the first prize. Chakkapong Pankaen from PIM won the second prize. Kansinee Rodliang, also from PIM, won the third prize.

CIAU hoped this contest set an exchange platform for the Thai college students, help them improve their Chinese and know more about modern China.
