17 January 2018, Mr. Zhao Peiqin, the Chinese Director of Confucius Institute of Assumption University (CIAU), together with teacher representatives, visited Minburi Technical College (MTC) for co-founding Chinese Proficiency Tests Center. Mr. Surin Tumlim, Acting President of Minburi Technical College, Mr. Wiroat Khabaunngarm, Vice President of Minburi Technical College, Mrs. Siriwan Tonil, Vice President of Minburi Technical College attended the meeting.
In the meeting, Mr. Surin Tumlim briefly introduced MTC’s Chinese teaching, uniqueness and history. Mr. Zhao Peiqin briefly introduced Confucius Institute, its general business and the requirements for founding Chinese proficiency tests center. The two sides had a detailed discussion on the facilities, tests supervisors and regulations.
This meeting laid a sound foundation for the cooperation on Chinese teaching, Chinese proficiency tests and cultural exchanges between the two sides.
