Chinese Tests Center co-founding agreement signing ceremony between Confucius Institute at Assumption University (CIAU) and Phetchaburi Rajabhat University (PBRU) was held on 16 January 2018. Asst. Prof. Dr. Sanor Klinngam, President of PBRU, Asst. Prof. Pojanart Buakiao, Vice President of PBRU, heads of some faculties and departments, representatives of the teachers and students took part in the ceremony. Asst. Prof. Dr. Sanor Klinngam and Mr. Zhao Peiqin, Chinese Director of CIAU signed the agreement together. Asst. Prof. Dr. Sanor Klinngam and Ms. Siriluk Chaiprompasit, Thai Director of CIAU unveiled the teaching center plate together.
The leaders of overseas Chinese mass organization in Phetchaburi also attended the ceremony. They extended their congratulations at the ceremony by arranging traditional lion dance. Students from the Dance Department of PBRU performed unique dance which combined Chinese and Thailand culture.
Asst. Prof. Dr. Sanor Klinngam emphasized the importance PBRU attached to Chinese teaching and cultural exchanges and activities. He hoped that the founding of Chinese Tests Center would bring convenience to the students in Phetchaburi, which would promote Chinese learning and teaching. Ms. Siriluk Chaiprompasit introduced the general business of Confucius Institute and wished for future cooperation.
Till now, with the approval of Hanban and Chinese Testing International, Phetchaburi Rajabhat University, Assumption College Rayong, Assumption Samutprakarn School and Assumption Commercial College have become the Chinese tests centers of CIAU.
